). Production is piloted by Dimitri Rassam for Chapter 2 with co-production support from Studio 37, SND and Canada’s Transfilm.

At the Berlin market, Lionel Uzan’s team will screen Sophie Lellouche’s Paris-Manhattan, starring Alice Taglioni, Patrick Bruel, Woody Allen and Louis-Do de Lencquesaing, a romantic comedy that attracted interest from many distributors at the recent Rendez-vous with French Cinema in Paris. This the director’s debut feature was produced by Vendome Production and will be released in France on March 28. The plot centres on a young 30-year-old woman who can’t manage to settle down with someone and only lives through her passion for Woody Allen and his world. But finally, she meets a man...

There will also be screenings of Pierre Pinaud’s On Air (starring Karin Viard and Nicolas Duvauchelle – see news) and French director Pascal Laugier’s US/Canadian thriller The Tall Man, starring Jessica Biel; and sales will get started for Grégory Magne and Stéphane Viard’s title in post-production, Michel, starring Gregory Montel and the singer Michel Delpech, the former playing a bailiff who has to seize the possessions of the latter and embarks on organising a concert to bail out the artist (produced by Les Films Velvet).
