Based on a series of short stories by Norwegian writer Levi Henriksen, Home for Christmas weaves together the lives of people struggling to find their way home on a Christmas Eve. The title is produced by Hamer’s BulBul Films, in co-production with Hamer’s long time German co-producer Pandora Film, with support from the Norwegian Film Institute, Nordisk Film & TV Fond and Eurimages.

Shooting will next move to Stjørdal, Norway and the Ruhr region in Germany. Sandrew Metronome will handle the domestic release in the autumn 2010.
