Jancsó and Hajdu head Hungarian Film Week line-up

The annual showcase of the best of Hungarian production, Hungarian Film Week has unveiled the selection for its 41st edition, to be held in Budapest from February 2-8. The event will present 95 films in five competitive sections (narrative features, shorts, documentaries, scientific works and TV dramas).

Vying for the Golden Reel 2010 for Best Narrative Feature are 16 titles (including 13 in world première and five debut features). Among them are two films finally completed after a lengthy production phase: Bibliotheque Pascal [+see also:

Hungarian Film Week will open with well-known veteran director Miklós Jancsó’s Hungarian/Austrian/Polish co-production So Much For Justice! (see news). It will be presented out of competition, as will Judit Elek’s Returning Home (see news) and Marta MészárosThe Last Report on Anna (see news).
