Wide Management pins hopes on All That I Love at Sundance

film profile] is one of the main assets in the line-up of French international seller Wide Management.
Winner of the Audience Award at the latest Gdynia Polish Film Festival, the new film by the director of Kalafiorr (2000) and Tulips (2005) was released in Polish theatres last Friday.
Produced by Prasa & Film, All That I Love traces the trials and tribulations of an 18-year-old boy who forms a punk-rock band in Poland in spring 1981. But the massive strikes launched by the Solidarity movement at the time make this musical passion seem like a dangerous display of rebellion in the eyes of the authorities.

Wide Management also has hopes for Laure Charpentier’s Gigola, adapted from the director’s novel, which was published in 2002 after it was banned from publication in 1972. Starring Lou Doillon, Eduardo Noriega, Rossy de Palma, Thierry Lhermitte and Marisa Paredes, the film is currently in post-production.
Gigola takes an explosive look at the world of lesbians in Pigalle in the 1960s and centres on a young woman who gets caught in a spiral of self-destruction after her partner’s suicide. Piloted by Marie Amélie Production, the film is lensed by DoP Yorgos Arvanitis.
