Constantin triumphs again at Tiger Industry Awards

The FFA (German film regulating body) allocated €15.7m in annual automatic support grants to the producers, distributors and short films that enjoyed the most success commercially and culturally in 2009. This success is measured according to a points system, which takes into account the number of admissions garnered by the films, as well as awards and festival selections.

On the distribution side, Constantin received €854,000 for 16 titles. In second position is Warner Bros. Entertainment with €432,000 for 12 films, and in third place Walt Disney with €287,000 for three titles.

For the second year, the FFA also awarded funding to short films: €527,000 was shared out among 51 titles.
