After three weeks at the box office, Nacho G. Velilla’s Que Se Mueran Los Feos [+see also:

(“Death To Ugly People”) has proved to be the biggest Spanish hit of 2010 so far. Since its release on April 23, this comedy, starring Javier Cámara and Carmen Machi (see news), has grossed just under €3.67m and there is every indication it will easily exceed €5m.

The comedy thus follows in the footsteps of two other spring comedies produced by Antena 3 Films: Velilla’s Chef’s Special, which attracted almost 900,000 viewers in 2008 (€5.11m); and Fernando González’s Brain Drain [+see also:

, which was the fourth best-performing Spanish film of 2009 with 1.17m admissions (€6.91m).
