The year’s Best Producer was judged to be Pietro Valsecchi for Cado dalle Nubi and Best Distributor 01 Distribution, for The Ghost Writer. The Golden Globe of Excellence will go to will go to the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.

Career awards will be presented to Ermanno Olmi, Giancarlo Giannini and Vittorio Storaro and a 50th Anniversary Golden Globe to Gina Lollobrigida.
