The Four Times triumphs at Annecy

, which was unveiled in the latest Cannes Directors’ Fortnight where it won the Europa Cinemas Label.

The jury – presided by actress Anna Bonaiuto and comprising, among others, French director Pierre Salvadori – handed its Special Prize to Ascanio Celestini for The Black Sheep [+see also:

, which was discovered in competition at the latest Venice festival and released last Friday in Italian theatres.

Best Actress went to Alexandra Pirici for her performance in Massimo Coppola’s Afraid of the Dark (Bruises) [+see also:

. Special mentions were awarded to Pia Lanciotti for Alessandro Angelini’s Keep Your Head Up [+see also:

, which also scooped the Audience Award.
