It is the satirical portrayal of three brothers – writer Ivar, film producer Mitja and caretaker Torsti – who have the same father but different mothers. They haven't seen each other for a long time, but are reunited for the celebration of their father’s 70th birthday. They start to talk about their relationships, revealing some painful memories of their past and unpleasant truths about their father, whom they blame for the failures in their lives.

Filming began last summer and delivery is scheduled for February 2011. The €305,000 film was just awarded €100,000 in production support from the Finnish Film Foundation. FS Film will handle the domestic release of Brothers.
