Also in the line-up are two major titles in post-production. Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud’s French/German/Belgian feature Chicken With Plums (see news and news), starring a first-rate cast (Mathieu Amalric, Jamel Debbouze, Golshifteh Farahani, Edouard Baer, Chiara Mastroianni, Isabella Rossellini, Eric Caravaca and Maria de Medeiros), has already been acquired by Le Pacte for France, Prokino for Germany, Cinéart for Belgium and Filmcoopi for Switzerland. Meanwhile, Christophe Honoré’s French/UK/Czech co-production Les Biens-Aimés (“Beloved”, see news), featuring Catherine Deneuve, Chiara Mastroianni, Ludivine Sagnier, Louis Garrel, Paul Schneider and Milos Forman, has been pre-bought by Le Pacte for France and Lumière for Benelux.

Among its films in production, Celluloid Dreams is selling English-language thriller The Year of the Snake by German director Dennis Gansel (The Wave [trailer], We Are the Night [trailer]), starring Moritz Bleibtreu and Kasia Smutniakau; and Santiago Amigorena’s French/Argentinean/Canadian/Brazilian co-production Another Kind of Silence (see news), starring Marie-Josée Croze.

The many genre films on the company’s slate include the market premieres of Fernando Barreda Luna’s Spanish/Mexican horror feature Atrocious and John Hewitt’s Australian thriller X. In post-production, the company boasts the Orozco brothers’ Colombian thriller Greetings to the Devil, with a cast headed by Edgar Ramirez (Carlos [trailer]).
