Golden Globes: We Have a Pope Best Film, two Globes for Emidio Greco

04/07/2011 - We Have a Pope [trailer, film focus] is also the choice of foreign film journalists – after having won six Nastri d'Argento Awards by the Italian film press (see news), Nanni Moretti’s latest work won Golden Globe for Best Film given to him last Saturday in Rome by the Foreign Press Association in Italy. The foreign journalists’ choice of Best Debut Feature went to 20 Cigarettes [trailer] by Aureliano Amadei, about the Nassiriya massacre. Best Cinematography went to Fabio Cianchetti in The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Saverio Costanzo. Riccardo Scamarcio was awarded the European Golden Globe, while Best European Film was won by In a Better World by Susanne Bier.
