18/11/2011 - The number of cinema-goers has decreased by 3.8% in the first six months of this year as compared to the same period in 2010, according to data from the Observatory of the Italian Editors’ and Authors’ Society - SIAE presented by the CEO Gaetano Blandini this morning.
60.4 tickets were sold for takings of around 369 million Euros. A number which records -9,24% compared to last year’s first semester, which saw the boom of 3 D, but which is still superior to that registered in 2009 (324 million Euros).
"There is good news – stressed Gaetano Blandini- the box office top ten, in terms of money spent, counts 6 Italian films".
