Life’s A Breeze for Lance Daly

09/12/2011 - Director Lance Daly (pictured - Kisses [trailer]) has commenced principal photography at Dublin locations on his next feature Life’s A Breeze.

The film follow’s a family’s quest for a lost fortune. The cast includes Fionnula Flanagan (The Guard [trailer, film focus]), Pat Shortt (Garage [trailer, film focus]), Eva Birthistle (Wake Wood [trailer]) and debutant Kelly Thornton.

Life’s A Breeze is produced by Ireland’s Fastnet Films (The Other Side Of Sleep [trailer]) and is a co-production with Sweden’s Anagram Produktion, with finance from the Irish Film Board, BAI, Setanta Ireland, Film i Väst, Swedish Film Institute, Magnolia Distribution, Section 481 and Eurimages. Producers are Macdara Kelleher for Fastnet Films and Martin Persson for Anagram Produktion.

The production is currently filming at Dublin’s The Factory studio and will film at other Dublin locations for four weeks before moving to Sweden for a two-week shoot in January.

It is estimated that the production will spend €2 million in the Irish economy on local goods and services, creating over 50 jobs.

The film is due an autumn 2012 release.
