3D relief training with S3D Campus
30/03/2012 - On June 13 and 14, in the Plaine Saint-Denis just outside Paris, S3D Campus will hold another free training session, called "Producing and selling a 3D relief feature or documentary". Organised as part of the Dimension 3 International Forum (read more), this training session to combine theory and meetings with 3D professionals (stereographers, S3D producers, distributors, international buyers...) will allow thirty successful applicants to learn how to overcome the obstacles in technology and funding to 3D productions, and to discover financial mechanisms and market opportunities to develop a 3D project. Two pitching sessions will be organised as part of the Dimension 3 Market Place.
S3D Campus, directed by Avance Rapide Communication and the Dimension 3 Forum, is supported by the European Union’s MEDIA Programme, as well as other partners. Its courses specially target confirmed professionals who wish to develop their skills and to network in the European 3D relief sector. Over four years, S3D Campus has welcomed 82 participants from 14 pays.
Applications are open until April 15, and particpants will be selected according to their CV and cover letter. Professionals looking to develop a S3D project (feature film or documentary), professionals with a finished production they wish to sell, content providers, and distributors looking for new economic models should apply.
