President Moretti’s eight jurors

25/04/2012 - Tonight in Paris, the Cannes Film Festival officially announced the composition of the jury led by Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti (news) to choose the Palme d’Or winner at the festival’s 65th edition from May 16 to 27.

Four women are to be on the panel: British film director Andrea Arnold, French actress Emmanuelle Devos, German actress Diane Kruger, and Palestinian actress and director Hiam Abbas.

British actor Ewan McGregor, American director Alexander Payne, Haitian filmmaker Raoul Peck and French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gautier will also help to judge the 22 films vying for the Palme d’Or (read more).
