Cineuropa takes part in public hearing on future of Media Programme

26/04/2012 - Cineuropa Director Valerio Caruso is one of the speakers of the public hearing on 'Defining the future EU culture and media programmes', organised today in Brussels by the European Parliament’s Committee on Culture and Education

Many experts will offer their opinions on the future guidelines of Creative Europe, the European Commission proposal that is now being discussed at the European Parliament's Culture and Education Committee (Rapporteur MEP Silvia Costa). The proposal aims to bring the current Culture, MEDIA 2007 and MEDIA Mundus programmes together under a common framework to support the cultural and creative sectors with a budget of €1.8 billion (+37%).
