The 14th edition of the Festival of German Films in Madrid is starting today (June 5). Until June 9, the Cine palafox will feature ten new feature films, four shorts, and the traditionnal Next Generation Short Tiger programme.

The opening film, Christian Schwochow's Cracks in the Shell [+see also:

The Spanish premiere of Andreas Dresen's Stopped on Track [+see also:

film profile] will be celebrated during the festival as a special event on June 6. Moreover, in collaboration with the Goethe Institut in Madrid, a retrospective of Dresen's work is to be shown comprising Grill Point [+see also:
