in Russia by the country’s Ministry of Culture due to "pornographic material" (news), the film's producer Jelena Mitrović denies all charges of pornography levelled at the film.

"The intention of the authors, scriptwriters, their cooperatives including producers as well as of the actors and their families’ intention was to make a film conveying a strong message about the severe problems of modern youth generations, even beyond borders of ‘transitional countries’ including Serbia. In her own statement, director Maja Miloš said: "The problems that young people in Eastern Europe are growing up with are severe. They are surrounded by great social turbulence and violence, and Clip is a film that is very honestly speaking about that. I'm sure that not showing the reality won’t protect any young person because the grave problems are still all around them. Clip is a film that raises questions and can provoke discussions on what can we do to understand and help today’s youth."
