by Andrés Muschietti (interview) was triple-crowned on Saturday night at the 33rd edition of Fantasporto, the Porto festival of fantastic cinema. Produced by Guillermo del Toro, the film in fact carried off the prizes for Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress (Jessica Chastain).

Portuguese director Antonio de Macedo received a prize rewarding the entirety of his career. The festival also celebrated the 70th anniversary of the release of Aniki-bóbó, one of the most iconic films by one of the movie industry's oldest members, Manoel de Oliveira, over 100 years old.

The documentary Mia Mia Sudan Tamam Tamam by Luís Moya was the winner in the section reserved for Portuguese cinema. Restart, a collective film made within the Lisbon Institute of Arts, Creativity and New Technologies won the Cinema Schools Prize.
