18/03/2013 - The story of a teenage superhero and his friends will be filmed starting in April or May between Ireland and Germany

It will be a "family film", a story on growing up aimed at all ages. The story will revolve around a teenage superhero and his friends, with references to contemporary films such as The Amazing Spiderman as well as classics like The Goonies. The new film by Gabriele Salvatores will be called The Invisible Boy, just like the 1950s science fiction B-movie.

Shooting for The Invisible Boy will start in April or March and will take place between Ireland and Germany, with actors aged between 14 and 18. In Ireland, the casting sought out children with a perfect cockney accent. Irish company Element Pictures (The Guard [+see also:
