10/04/2013 - The French filmmaker will preside the jury for the short films in competition and the jury awarding the Revelation Prize

French director Mia Hansen-Løve will preside the jury (composed of festival producers and directors) of the short films competition in the Critics' Week, whose 52nd edition will take place from May 16th to 24th as part of the 66th Cannes Film Festival.

film profile]) will also preside over the Revelation Jury, which will reward one of seven feature films in competition during the Critics’ Week.

Mia Hansen-Løve commented: “In these difficult times for filmmakers at the start of their careers and those who uphold a singular and free vision of the world, I am particularly happy to be invited to the Critics’ Week to view, highlight and raise awareness for films by young filmmakers”.

As a reminder, the jury of the feature films in competition in the Critics’ Week 2013 will be presided by Portuguese filmmaker Miguel Gomes (news).

The Selection of the Critics’ Week will be unveiled on April 23rd.
