Nomad Film distributes The Fifth Season

Distribution company Nomad Film, which was founded in 2010 by Lydia Genchi and specialises in quality documentaries, will finally bring The Fifth Season [+see also:

to Italian cinemas. The suggestive film by Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth was the winner, among others, of the Arca Cinema Giovani Award during the 69th Venice film festival, and the special jury prize during the 57th film week in Valladolid, as well as the Cineuropa award at Les Arcs European film festival for 2012. Release has been programmed for June 27.

to movie theatres. The documentary is based on the life of Gilberto Gil, the former Brazilian culture minister and champion of the culture of sharing. It was directed by Swiss Pierre-Yves Bergeaud and is a musical journey through the various stops on his Brazilian, Aboriginal Australian and South African tours.
