by

- Seven films have been selected to be in the running for an audience prize in the itinerant project conceived for the cultural and commercial promotion of new Italian cinema in Asian countries

After the success of previous editions, the Moviemov Italian Film Festival, an itinerant project created for the cultural and commercial promotion of New Italian cinema in Asian countries, is returning.

The festival was created and directed by Goffredo Bettini in collaboration with the Italian embassy in Thailand, and organised by Playtown Roma, thanks to support from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the cinema direction branches of the Lazio region, the province of Rome and Rome’s chamber of commerce, as well as indispensable support from numerous private sponsors. Launching into its third year, the festival will offer more than seven selected films to attendees. Programming is to include a homage to Italy’s great masters, with a retrospective dedicated to Ettore Scola, as well as one dedicated to new Thai cinema.
