by Eric Rohmer (2007). Maestro’s story focuses on Henri (Pio Marmaï), a young comedian dreaming of being in an action movie and who finds himself on the set of a master of author cinema, Cédric Rovère (Michael Lonsdale). Henri will come out transformed of this exceptional experience, which also happens to be the director’s last filming.

Produced by Mandarin Cinéma (Nicolas and Eric AltmayerIsabelle Grellat), Maestro, which was pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, benefits from the backing of Angoa and the Centre region where the majority of the filming will take place (while Paris is the set this week) for a scheduled duration of 31 days. The French distribution and international sales are handled by Rezo.
