Bharat Nalluri commences Spooks shoot
British television series Spooks

Bharat Nalluri, originating director of popular British television series Spooks that ran for 86 episodes across 10 seasons between 2002 and 2011, has commenced principal photography on Spooks: The Greater Good, the feature film version. Based on a script by Spooks writers Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent, the film stars Kit Harington (Testament of Youth), Jennifer Ehle (Fifty Shades of Grey) and Peter Firth

The film follows a former MI5 officer and a back from the dead counter-terrorism expert who team to try and foil a dreaded terrorist as he plans a devastating attack on the heart of London.

Ollie Madden, Jane Featherstone and Stephen Garrett are producing for Kudos and Shine Pictures. Pinewood Pictures is financing in association with Altitude Film Entertainment, BBC Films and Creative England.  Pinewood Pictures and Altitude Film Distribution will distribute the film in the UK.  The film will be released in 2015.

Altitude Film Sales is handling international sales and will debut first footage in Cannes.
