21/04/2014 - Italian director Sebastiano Riso, Danish filmmaker Jonas Arnby and France’s Boris Lojkine are in competition. Meanwhile, Carrénard, Lilti and Mélanie Laurent will be out of competition

Four European filmmakers will be taking part in the competition at the 53rd Critics’ Week, which will take place from 15-23 May as part of the 67th Cannes International Film Festival. Announced on Monday via an online press conference (available to watch on the Critics’ Week website) by General Delegate Charles Tesson, the programme for the 2014 edition includes seven feature films in competition.

Set to duke it out for the Critics’ Week Grand Prix are Frenchman Boris Lojkine with Hope [+see also:
