The Animadoc Documentary Animation Workshop launches its call for projects
In English:

The Animadoc Documentary Animation Workshop will take place in Marseille from 2 to 7 December 2014. This event is aimed at documentary directors who wish to include animation in their work. The workshop will combine networking and creative development and will focus on the different animation techniques which exist for script-making, production management, drawing up budgets and funding.

The proposed project must be a fully animated documentary film or one which includes animation in several scenes. There is no limit set for the duration of the film. The workshop will be imparted in English and will take place over 4 days and be composed of French and Israeli directors and producers. The directors and producers will be coached in the transition from script to story-board by animation professionals. The workshop will conclude with a meeting with financial backers. Among the activities, worth noting is the conference “The evolution of narrative modes in documentary film thanks to new media”, the Ari Folman Focus (with the screening of The Congress [+see also:
