The 12th Sofia Meetings extends its call for applications

The 12th Sofia Meetings will take place from 12 to 15 March 2015 in the framework of the 19th Sofia International Film Festival (5 – 15 March).
Sofia Meetings is an event, supported by Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme of the European Commission, EA Bulgarian National Film Center and Sofia Municipality, with two separate modules: Feature Films Pitching (presentation of first, second and third feature fiction film projects of the director, looking for co-producers, sales and distribution) and Balkan Screenings / Works in Progress (showcase of the latest Bulgarian and regional feature and short films; screenings for professionals of works by filmmakers whose projects have been presented at Sofia Meetings).
The call for applications, intended for first, second or third feature projects from all European countries, has been extended to 11 December 2014. Applications must be sent to sofiameetings@sofiaiff.com.
More than 100 key decision makers: producers, distributors, representatives of the film markets, sales companies, film funds, TV buyers and other film professionals from Europe and the region, as well as representatives of the key film festivals are expected to attend the event. Beside the main programmes there will be workshops and panels on different subjects and many informal events.
