03/03/2015 - The Marché du Film Festival de Cannes launches the second edition of NEXT. Cineuropa will be part of the pavilion

Following last year's success and in an attempt to keep following and contributing to the changing times in cinema, the Marché du Film Festival de Cannes launches the second edition of NEXT: a privileged space for meetings including a daily programme of round-tables and workshops, all focused on the future of film.

From 13 May to 22 May 2015, the NEXT Pavilion will be three times the size of last year and will host innovative companies, creative platforms, new initiatives and experts in digital revolution to exchange and brainstorm around new challenges ahead. All located under one roof, at the Village International.

Companies hosted at the NEXT Pavilion will be able to organise their meetings on site. They will benefit from the support of the leading film market in the world and from a powerful marketing plan that will enable them to promote their new business models and innovative services for professionals in the cinema industry. Each afternoon the pavilion will offer workshops, presentations and networking events.

As for panels, they will take place during the mornings in one of the screening rooms at the Palais des Festivals with a capacity of 150 persons, compared to 75 last year. The programme for this year will focus on new opportunities arising in digital innovation, whether it is storytelling, financing, production, distribution, marketing, theatrical exhibition, or festivals… In this spirit, NEXT offers a round-the-clock programme to meet and fulfil professionals’ needs and expectations. It is an event not to be missed by the pioneers of the coming film industry.
