Written by Forestier herself, the plot focuses on Lila, a girl with a stutter, who seeks refuge in silence. Her life is turned upside down when she falls in love with Mo, a kamikaze driver, who risks his life by racing in illegal car rallies. It is this connection that moves Lila to emerge from her muteness, and their passion makes Mo want to stop his suicidal habits. But adrenaline and the love of risk are tough drugs to give up…

Produced by Hugo Selignac for Chi-Fou-Mi Productions, and by Denys Freyd for Archipel 35, M has received considerable support from the Gan Foundation. The nine-week shoot will take place in Paris (at the Henri IV and Bergson schools), and in the Ile-de-France region (in Nanterre, Gennevilliers, Argenteuil and Pantin). Distribution in French cinemas will be handled by Ad Vitam
