Towards the European Oscars

- The EFA members have selected 43 feature length films. At the start of November the final nominations will be announced for the 16 categories. Then the award ceremony itself will be in Berlin on December 6

There are 43 European films in the running for the 2003 European Film Awards. It’s now up to the 1,600 members of the European Film Academy to use this shortlist to choose the precise nominations for each of the 16 categories of the “European Oscars”. These candidates will be published at the start of November, with the final awards being announced at the ceremony being held in Berlin on December 6, 2003.
