The shooting of Lucas Belvaux's new film La Raison du plus faible will start next summer in Liège. Co-produced with Entre Chien et Loup (BE) and Agat Films & Cie (France), with the help of the French Community in Belgium and of CNC, the new project of the director of the trilogy (Un couple épatant [+see also:

) has also been helped by d’Eurimages (370.000 euro). And once again, Belvaux tackles the dark film of which Cavale was a model, since La Raison du plus faible gathers four men who decide to go and fetch the money where it is and to commit a hold-up, starring Eric Caravaca, Natacha Reignier and the director himself.

The new project of Alain Berliner will be shot this summer, as from July, in Belgium, France and Luxemburg. Until now entitled Gene Astaire, the film joins the director's attraction for spectacle in a tribute to musical with an analysis on the tight world of a family in which from father to son, one abandons his family for the dance mermaids. The film stars Vincent Elbaz, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Cécile de France and Jeanne Balibar. Produced by Artémis Productions (BE) Liaison cinématographique (FR) and Samsa Film (LU), the film was supported by the French Community in Belgium and Promimage, and has granted a 5. 5 m euros budget. In Belgium, Cinéart-Cinélibre and in France TFM Distribution will distribute the film. Sales are handled by TF1 International and the film will come to the cinema next spring.
