From Slovenia to Turin
German cinema is particularly emphasized this year at the 16th Ljubljana Film Festival which starts today (10-24 November) with 17 German (co)productions.

Elsewhere, Seven Heaven (o.t. Sieben Himmel), by Michael Busch, is representing Germany in competition at the 22nd Turin Film Festival (11-19 November). This experimental film produced by Abbildungszentrum Jan Peters Filmproduktion shows an uninhibited Daniela Schulz, co-starring with Christoph Bach. The competitive section Doc2005 will present the Italian-German co-production Balordi, by Mirjam Kubescha. After Turin, Seven Heaven will move to the festival FILMZ in Mainz (30 November- 4 December).
