Iain Glen plays In Like Flynn

16/11/2005 - Established Scottish actor Iain Glen has teamed up again with the Irish producers of Song For a Raggy Boy Subotica Entertainment on their new production In Like Flynn written and directed by newcomer Niall Heery.
The film which started its five weeks shoot in and around Belfast last Monday, is a comedy drama about a man who finds fame through his love of country and western music. Other top names attached to the project include actors Steven Mackintosh (The Jacket [trailer], Tom Murphy (Adam & Paul), Stuart Graham (Goldfish Memories), production designer Mark Lowery (Breakfast On Pluto [trailer]), IFTA nominated costume designer Hazel Webb Crozier (Mickebo & Me), IFTA winning editor Emer Reynolds (Shameless) and DoP Tim Fleming (Cinegael Paradiso).
The €2.5m film is produced by Subotica Entertainment’s Dominic Wright and Tristan Orpen Lynch with funding from the Irish Film Board and the Northern Ireland Film & TV Commission. International sales are handled by Movie House Entertainment and the UK and Irish releases are scheduled for 2006.
