Da Vinci Code opens

The film adaptation of the world best-seller, The Da Vinci Code will open the 59th Cannes Festival (17 - 28 May 2006). Shot partly in Paris, the film by American Ron Howard is interpreted, notably, by his compatriot Tom Hanks, by Frence's Audrey Tautou and Jean Reno, Britain's Ian McKellen and Paul Bettany, as well as Alfred Molina.
