by Fabien Lemercier

12/05/2006 - Aside from the 14 titles chosen in the various selections of the Cannes Film Festival (May 17-28), French international sales company Wild Bunch has an impressive line-up in store.

It includes Actrices, the new film currently in production by Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi (see news), Hors de prix by Pierre Salvadori, with Audrey Tautou and Gad Elmaleh (see article), which will use a promo reel to start sales, as will Président by Lionel Delplanque, starring Albert Dupontel and Jérémie Rénier.

(The article continues below - Commercial information)

New titles worth noting in the line-up are Molière by Laurent Tirard, starring Romain Duris, Fabrice Luchini, Laura Morante and Ludivine Sagnier, currently in production, and the adaptation of comic strip Largo winch, to be directed by Jérôme Salle (Anthony Zimmer ) for Pan Européenne Production .

The sales team, headed by Vincent Maraval, will also sell Woody Allen’s next film, whose title has not yet been decided. Shooting of the film – planned to take place in Paris this summer – has been postponed and will now take place at another location. Wild Bunch is also continuing to work on films in production and post-production, such as Mon meilleur ami by Patrice Leconte with Daniel Auteuil (promo reel), L’homme de sa vie [trailer] by Zabou Breitman, The Golden Door [trailer, film focus] by Emanuele Crialese, Le Serpent [trailer] by Eric Barbier and the documentary Maradona by Emir Kusturica.

Films to be screened at the Market include Arrivederci amore ciao [trailer] by Italy’s Michele Soavi and the UK/Spanish co-production Cargo by Clive Gordon, starring Peter Mullan, Daniel Brühl and Luis Tosar.
