(see article) won the Fipresci Award today, a prize given to the best film in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival. This achievement was shared with the film’s French co-producer, Pyramide, and Eurimages, who provided funding for the feature.

In the Un Certain Regard selection, the Fipresci Award went to Hamaca Paraguaya by Paz Encina, a Paraguayan film co-produced with Argentina, France (Slot Machine), the Netherlands (Fortuna Films) and Spain (Wanda Vision). Paris-based Scalpel is handling sales of the film.
