Also lined up in the event’s programme are three workshops bringing together over 80 members, filmmakers, scriptwriters and film aficionados of the NISI MASA network. "20 Visions of Paris" will host the production of 20 five-minute shorts by young directors from 20 different European countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Kosovo, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, the UK, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine).

The menu will also include a "Kinokabaret", a 72-hour collective directing laboratory (including filming and editing), and a 48-hour scriptwriting marathon, supported by Dominik Moll, which starts tomorrow at the Maison de l'Europe.

Several screenings are programmed, including shorts produced by G.R.E.C, workshop films and European shorts, as well as five films from winners of the NISI MASA European scriptwriting competition.

Two other lectures will round off the event: "Workshop films in Europe: Practices and Stakes" and "Does multicultural Europe need cinema to exist?", to be held on August 31. Participants include directors Karin Albou (Little Jerusalem), Zelimir Zilnic and UK filmmaker Stephen Frears.
