A total of €4.4m was allocated this week by Eurimages to 14 new European co-productions. The Council of Europe support fund, whose chairman Jacques Toubon was recently re-elected for a third term, is backing 29 distribution companies for the release of 29 feature films and documentaries.

At the top of the list are German/French/Italian co-production Ein Fall für Freunde...wie alles began and Finish/German/Danish/Irish title Tie Tähtiin, both awarded €600,000.
