The Distribution Support program of German Films was founded in 2005. The funds are intended to finance additional measures to supplement the advertising campaigns of theatrical releases already planned by the foreign distributors. The support, of a maximum of €50,000, is granted in the form of a conditionally repayable loan. Funding of up to €10,000 can also be allocated as a grant.

The guidelines and application form for Distribution Support 2006 are available from German Films and can also be downloaded at www.german-films.de/support. For further information, please contact Stephanie Wimmer.
