New German Films is one of the important services for the rights-holders of German films. German Films books 36 screening slots at the Marché du Film and makes these available to interested producers and exporters in return for a share of the costs. It supports the screenings with a series of promotional measures (including a special brochure and advertisements in the dailies of Screen International, Variety and Film Francais) for the whole program. The screenings are open to all registered films provided program slots are available. There is no selection made of the films.

You can reach German Films in the German Pavilion in Cannes via tel. +33 493 99 86 00 and fax +33 493 99 86 21.
