Amalric, Arterton, Kurylenko join Bond 22 cast

10/01/2008 - French star Mathieu Amalric, currently basking in the acclaim for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly [trailer], has been signed on to play the main villain Dominic Greene in the 22nd James Bond film.
St. Trinian’s star Gemma Arterton has been signed on to play MI6 Agent Fields while Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko, a former model, will play the femme fatale Camille. Kurylenko was most recently seen in Hitman.
Casino Royale [trailer] concluded with 007 being betrayed by Treasury agent Vesper Lynd. Bond 22 continues the story. Producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said that Kurylenko’s character “challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper’s betrayal.”
The Marc Foster-directed project is currently filming and is due a November 7 release.
