Emden – Norderney pays tribute to Ulrich Mühe

The 19th edition of the Emden – Norderney International Film Festival (June 4-11) kicks off today and opens with Eran Riklis’ German/French/Israeli co-production Lemon Tree [+see also:

(Panorama Audience Award at the latest Berlin Film Festival), which will vie for the Bernhard Wicki Award and DGB Award. This feature replaces Clara by Emden-born director Helma Sanders-Brahms, which was originally chosen as the opening film but turned out to be unavailable at the last minute.
