by

A total of €4,380,000 have been allocated by the European Council's support fund Eurimages for the co-production of 12 new feature films. The decision was taken at the latest meeting of Eurimages’ management board, held in Paris this week.

The eclectic list of projects includes films directed by both European and non-European directors, from 100-year-old Portuguese filmmaker Manoel de Oliveira, whose latest film Singularidades de uma rapariga loira is in production (see news), to Malaysia-born auteur Tsai Ming-Liang, who returns behind the camera with Visages.
