15 European co-productions receive Eurimages backing

A total of €4,680,000 have been allocated by the European Council's support fund Eurimages for the co-production of 15 new feature films. The decision was taken at the latest meeting of the Eurimages board, held in Paris from March 15-17.

Established in 1988 and currently with 33 members, Eurimages has supported 1,252 European co-productions so far. The new regulations for co-production support were implemented in January 2009 (see interview with Eurimages' executive secretary Roberto Olla).
