06/03/2006 - Europa no ha transformando todas las nominaciones en premios, pero puede considerarse satisfecha. En el Kodak Theatre de Los Ángeles esta noche, en una 78° edición de los Oscar ganada por el filme Crash sobre el super favorito Brokeback Mountain, el viejo continente impuso su propia marca en el campo del documental y de los dibujos animados. Sonríe sobretodo Gran Bretana: el fracaso de las actrices Judi Dench y Keira Knightley en la carrera al oscar de la mejor actriz (ha ganado Reese Witherspoon por Walk the Line) fue superado por la inglesa Rachel Weisz, mejor actriz de reparto El jardinero fiel [tráiler] de Fernando Mereilles. Bandera británica también la coproducción Tsotsi, filme sudafricano vencedor de la estatua por el mejor filme en lengua extranjera en detrimento de otros títulos europeos como el italiano La bestia nel cuore [tráiler], el alemán Sophie Scholl [tráiler], la coproducción entre diversos países europeos del filme palestino Paradise Now [tráiler] y el francés Feliz Navidad [tráiler, film focus]. Pero en Paris se brindará por la enésima confirmación de EL viaje del emperador [tráiler] que ha obtenido el record de ingresos en el mundo entero con el Oscar por el mejor documental. Es una enorme satisfacción para la creatividad europea también la victoria del britanico Nick Park con el filme de animación Wallace & Gromit [tráiler] contra dos monstruos sagrados como el japonés Hayao Miyazaki (Il castello errante di Howl) y el americano Tim Burton (La sposa cadavere).
