Present and future assets for Wild Bunch

Present and future assets for Wild Bunch08/05/2012 - Beyond its impressive armada of 15 films (read more) selected for the different sections of the 65th Cannes Film Festival (from May 16 to 27), French international sales agency Wild Bunch will also launch pre-sales on four new titles at the festival's Film Market. These notably include Goodbye to Language 3D by Jean-Luc Godard, for which filming has already started with Héloise Godet, Zoe Bruneau, Kamel Abdelli, Richard Chevalier, Jessica Erickson in the cast.

Passion by Brian De Palma, an English-language remake of Love Crime [trailer] by Alain Corneau, will also join the line-up. Shooting is almost finished on this film produced by the French from SBS and the Germans from Integral Film and to star Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace, Karoline Herfurth, and Paul Anderson.

Wild Bunch will also stay loyal to Marina de Van, with the horror film Dark Touch (read more), a co-production bringing together France, Ireland, and Sweden.

Pre-sales will also kick off for Canadian production Haunter by Vincenzo Natali (the name behind the cult films Cube and Splice), to follow a 16-year-old girl condemned to repeat the last day of her existence for eternity until she discovers who is responsible for the curse.

At the Cannes Film Market, Vincent Maraval's team will also continue with pre-sales for the many other titles in its line-up, such as Blood Ties by Guillaume Canet (with Billy Crudup, Clive Owen, Marion Cotillard, and Zoe Saldana), Low Life by James Gray (with Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard), or even Danish production Only God Forgives by Nicolas Winding Refn (with Ryan Gosling and Kristin Scott-Thomas - sales shared with Gaumont). Among these titles, others also stand out: Superstar by Xavier Giannoli (read more) and In The House [trailer] by François Ozon (read more), two titles that seem to be highly expected in Venice, as well as, among others, the animation film The Suicide Shop [trailer] by Patrice Leconte, Hand in Hand by Valérie Donzelli (read more), Dead Europe by Tony Krawitz, Haute Cuisine by Christian Vincent (read more), Populaire by Régis Roinsard (read more), Tied by Hélène Fillières (read more), Asterix et Obelix : God Save Britannia 3D by Laurent Tirard, Twice Born by Italian filmmaker Sergio Castellitto, The Attack by Ziad Doueiri, the documentary On the Way to School by Pascal Plisson, The Last Supper by Chinese filmmaker Lu Chuan, and the line-up's sea serpent, The Grandmasters by Wong Kar Wai.
