Filmacademy Baden-Württemberg

actualización 28/03/2011 - Presentation & Philosophy:

The Film Academy Baden-Württemberg was founded in 1991 as a non-profit limited liability company. The project-oriented curriculum triggers learning by doing during all the different stages of a film and television production. More than 300 experts from the film and media business instruct the students and oversee their projects.

About 200 films of all genres and formats are being produced every year by teams of students enrolled in scriptwriting, directing (documentary film, feature film, advertising film, educational and scientific film), cinematography, editing, animation, series formats, interactive media, production, film music and sound design, motion design and production design.

In 2002, the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg established its own Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Post-production. Substantially independent in terms of content, organisation and finance, the Institute is taking over responsibility for the teaching of all students following the Animation course, for the digital post-production of all projects produced at the Film Academy, and for organising the annual fmx – International Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Interactive Media in Stuttgart.
