During the presentation at the Brussels Film Festival of his adaptation of his comic Les petits ruisseaux, comic creator Pascal Rabaté speaks about his experience as a first-time director. Rabaté choose to use depth of field as well as colours to depict the countryside, not often done in cinema. Rabaté also speaks of his relationship with the actors, in particular Daniel Prévost, of the difference between his two art forms and the difficulties in transposing certain scenes from a comic onto the big screen.
