Producer Antonin Svoboda talks about Lourdes, pre-selected for the European Parliament’s LUX Prize. This Austrian/German/French co-production tells the story of a woman confined to a wheelchair who goes to Lourdes in search of a cure. In the producer’s opinion, the participation in the Lux Prize is interesting because politicians have less and less time to devote to cinema and cultural activities.
